Neighbrsnook Private Limited (“Company”“us”“we”, or “our”) operates and owns the website ‘www.Neighbrsnook.com’ (“Website”) and the mobile application available on any online app store- ‘Neighbrsnook’ (“App”). The Website and the App shall collectively be referred to as the “Platform”.

We have laid down a policy (our “Privacy Policy”) explaining how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information that applies to our Platform, and your choices about the collection and use of your information.

This policy sets out how We use the information that we collect about you when you use the Platform. This policy also explains the choices that you can make about the way that we use your information.

1.Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the capitalized terms shall have the meaning as ascribed to them hereinafter. Any capitalized terms not mentioned herein shall have the meaning as ascribed to them under the Terms:

1.5) “Sensitive Personal Data or Information” shall have the same meaning as ascribed to it under Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011; and

1.6) “User Content” shall mean to include any information relating to the user of the Platform as may be collected from user’s account and activities while using of Platform, including but not limited to Personal Data so collected, device information, location and network carrier.

 

2. Information We Collect And Its Use
We collect the following types of information about you:

2.1) Information you provide us directly: While using our Platform, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include email address, phone number, Images, Videos, business name, first and last name, Cookies and Usage Data.

2.2) Collection of Usage Data: We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit or access our Platform by or through your personal devices. This Usage Data, inter alia, may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (i.e., IP address),  the pages of our Platform that you visit, the time and date of your visit, other diagnostic data. When you access the Platform with a mobile device, this Usage Data may include information such as the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID,  your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. All the information collected as Usage Data is collected automatically. Any information as detailed above as Usage Data is only indicative of the type of information being collected and shall not be taken as an exhaustive list.

2.3) Cookies Information: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Platform. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Other tracking technologies are also used such as beacons, tags and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyse our Platform. 4. Retention Of Data
We will retain your Personal Data on our systems or with third parties only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies).

Following deactivation of your user account, we may retain your profile information and User Content for a period of 180 days from such deactivation. In particular, we may retain your information for the purpose of compliance with legal and audit obligations, and for backup and archival purposes.

We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Platform, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

 

5.Transfer Of Data
Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. Please note that we transfer and store the data, including Personal Data, through a cloud server located at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

We take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organisation or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

Although, we keep your information safe and do not transfer the data without consent, there may be certain instances, where we might have to transfer your information as per the standard procedures. Few of such instances have been detailed below:

5.1) Transfer of data in certain cases: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

5.2) Disclosure for Law Enforcement: Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your information if required to do so by any applicable laws or in response to valid requests by any Public Authorities.

6.Security Of Data
The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7.Sharing Of Data
7.1) Platform Providers

We may employ third party companies and individual to facilitate our Platform (“Service Providers”), provide services on our behalf, perform Platform-related services or assist us in analysing how our Platform is used.

These Service Providers may collect your Personal Data. The Personal Data collected by the Service Providers shall be governed by their respective privacy policies and We are not liable with regards to such Personal Data.

7.2) Analytics

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyse the use of our Platform.

7.2.1) Google Firebase: Google Firebase is a mobile and web application development tool with in-built web analytics offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Platform. This data may be shared with other Google platforms. Google may use the collected data to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network. 8.Opting Out Procedure
You can opt out of collection or use of any Personal Data by Our Platform. To withdraw consent for collection and usage of Personal Data, please email us at info@neighbrsnook with subject as delete my account or visit our website and go to delete account page to request for that.  It may take up to 15 (fifteen) days to process your request.

 

9.Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 years. The Platform does not allow approval of registration of users under the age of 13 years to register. Please contact us at info@neighbrsnook.com

 

10. Links To Third Party Websites
If you click on one of the links to third party websites, you may be taken to websites we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of those websites. Read the privacy policy of other websites carefully. We are not responsible for these third-party sites.

11. Any Updates to this Privacy Policy
We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our Platform, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “Effective Date” at the top of this Privacy Policy. Please review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
